Challenge
KUBO initiated a rebrand to strengthen its identity in preparation for business expansion. The aim was to create a deeper connection to Filipino culture while incorporating a modern, bespoke design that would differentiate them from competitors.
Approach
The solution involved modernizing KUBO’s logo for versatile use across various platforms while introducing a vibrant color palette inspired by local textiles, fiestas, and produce. To infuse an element of fun, banners, bold colors, and collage techniques were incorporated into the design. Collaging became a key motif, symbolizing the rich and diverse influences of Filipino culture shaped by its history of colonization, creating a unique and meaningful visual identity.
